What would you say are your three top bass lures – I’m looking for all rounders here.

I’d go for a Jitterbug – it’s a great top water bait that I’ve had great success with. Then I’d go for a weedless spoon with a trailer – for fishing grassy areas. Finally, a plain old plastic lure with fish attractant.

My first choice would be a Zara Spook, but then again, I always liked spook fishing. Takes a bit of practice to get the lure moving properly, but once you do, the bass can’t resist it.
Though this is probably revealing my preferred fishing style more than what’s really the best lure, my second choice would be an aluminum buzzbait. It’s kind of a propeller that you skim over the surface and that produces a buzzing noise to attract the bass.
Third choice would be a plastic worm, just for simplicity and versatility.
