What is a gang hook? I’m going trout fishing and I’ve heard that’s the best hook to get. I may have one already, I just want to know what one looks like.

A gang hook is simply two small hooks tied together in tandem. They’re normally very small hooks – smaller than your usual hook (size 10 and below).
You can obviously buy these hooks, but if you know little about knots you can tie them yourself using the “Snell knot”.
I’ve successfully caught many bass and rainbow trout using these hooks.
Check your state regulations – some states don’t allow them. (I’m from Montana, and I know gang hooks in Montana and Pennsylvania gang hooks are perfectly legal.)
